Since 2016, Dan Heller has held five solo exhibitions of his documentary and fine art photography. His eclectic work is published in a variety of national outlets such as LensCulture, Guitar Magazine and Music Row, and featured in multiple “best of” photography editions of Nashville Arts Magazine and The Nashville Scene. Clients include Grammy-winning artists John Jorgenson and Pam Tillis, The Goffin-King Foundation, CURB/Warner and The Country Music Hall of Fame. Special assignments include documenting iconic Irish leader Gerry Adams’ four-day visit to Nashville in 2018, as well as portrait sessions with renowned guitarists Charlie Sexton, Mac Gayden, Lee Roy Parnell and Joe Bonamassa.
Dan’s 1,200 mile road-trip through Cuba in 2016 led to a dual art exhibition with renowned photojournalist, John Partipilo. In 2020, journalist Natasha Senjanovic chose one of Dan’s SEEN images as the cover photo for her Pulitzer Center sponsored series examining the effects of the pandemic on domestic and sexual violence.
